How do I call another yahoo member?

How can I retrieve over 600 web yahoo emails "stolen" by Outlook?

  • A family member was visiting and logged onto my household network to check his emails. He uses Outlook. When he logged onto Outlook, of course all my web based emails went "swoosh" into his Outlook. He won't answer my phone calls or respond to my emails requesting his help (he could simply forward them to me). I am assuming he is embarrassed and chose to DELETE them all rather than admit they ended up in his account accidentally. How can I retrieve these emails without his help? Please don't ask me to call AT&T; I have called them 6 times and talked to many Tier 1 and Tier 2 agents who cannot offer any help. Please don't ask me to call Yahoo. There is no way to contact them. I still have "classic" view for my yahoo homepage. I was told that maybe if I changed to the new view, my emails would show up. Unfortunately, it is now January 14, 2009 and it is TOO LATE to change from Classic to New according to AT&T Tier 1 agents. What can I do to retrieve these 600 inbox emails? Thank you, Confused

  • Answer:

well you are certainly confused I admit that, let me see if I can help, 1st you don't have "outlook accounts" you have accounts set up in outlook, check the settings for your att.net account by clicking tools>accounts from the tool bar and select your att.net account and click properties, go through each tab and check your settings especially user name and password, the only way they could have checked their mail through your outlook would be for them to have set up their own account in your outlook or change yours to their user name and password to access their mail, each user of outlook has to have their own account set up in order to access their mail. like you would need an account, your wife would need one and your daughter would need one, etc... good chance it's still logged into his account which is why you have no emails, you need to be logged in to your account, hope it helps good luck
