How can I make yahoo mail my dafault in vista?

• I can't figure out how to make yahoo mail my dafault mail client in vista. I used to have it that way and I can't figure out what changed to make it outlook? I uninstalled outlook and now it won't go back to yahoo mail. I tried the steps of going to internet options-programs then internet programs they set default programs. I click on windows mail and yahoo mail is not one of the options when I click on choose defaults for this program. I tried installing messenger and the most recent tool bar but none of this works. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? I can't even figure out what email program that is that opens up when I try to contact a person from a site like craigslist or something like that. I click on reply to a sale ad on craigslist and some other email opens up not outlook and not yahoo?

  You must understand that Yahoo is not an email program. It is an email service. The default email is normally a program. The only way to alter it to be Yahoo is with some type of add on or you can use the latest Firefox. ₪ For Firefox 3 (There is no option for FF 2.)... Go to Yahoo Mail and select "options". Then select "Set Y! Mail as default webmail". This will only work for mailto links within Firefox. It can also be done by going to tools > options > applications. Scroll down to MAILTO and select Yahoo Mail from the dropdown menu. ₪ For Internet Explorer You must first download Yahoo! Toolbar from http://toolbar.yahoo.com and install it.
