How do I download all of my gmail messages to outlook?

How do I prevent Outlook 2007 from downloading double copies of Yahoo messages?

  • I have Yahoo Plus, and use both my primary address and an extra address for different purposes. I'm using Outlook 2007 to download messages for both, plus a Gmail account. The problem is Outlook gives me two copies of each Yahoo message.

    This was my problem, it could also be yours. If you have a "rule" to put the incoming yahoo mail in a specific folder, check to see if you have 2 rules that do the same thing. I had 2 identical rules that each transferred incoming messages to a particular folder. The result was duplicate emails but only from the sender that rule applied to. Hope that helped
