I set up my outlook to receive one of my yahoo accounts. my emails keep disappearing from my in box.?

Every time my outlook checks the incomming mail from another of my yahoo accounts, the mail messages dissapear from my org yahoo acct. Anybody experienced this? Thanks....Vikki

Yes, what is happening is that when mail comes into Outlook from the Yahoo server, the e-mail is deleted from Yahoo as you really do not need the e-mail in both places. You can only use Outlook on your own computer. If you are on the road, you would check your e-mail in your Yahoo account. In Outlook Express, and I assume it would be the same on Outlook also, Under Tools - Accounts --Properties--Advanced tab, there is a box which says Leave message on server. If you wish to have your mail both in your yahoo account as well as in Outlook, check that box.
