How do you setup a new account?

How to setup mail account in Mozilla Thunderbird?

• I am new to it. I have not any desktop mail application yet, even that Outlook Express. After installation, Account Wizard is asking me to select the type of account i want. the 2 options were "Blogs & NewsFeed" and " Newsgroup". I do not know which of them i should opt. I just want to have an account like Yahoo Mail Account.Which should i choose then? By clicking next, it then asked me "Your Name" and "Email Address". Can I use my Yahoo mail account in there? Next is the newsgroup server and I totally don't have any idea what to fill out. A little help.. Please... :)
