How do I change my default email address?

How do I change my default email from outlook express to my usual Yahoo Email address ?

  • I do not like using outlook express to send Emails so how do I set it so that when I click a Email link my Yahoo account comes up ?

    When you say "email link" do you mean outlook express? Answer there: You can't. HOWEVER, you CAN make a NEW link. Goto your yahoo mail account on the web. Left click, and drag to the desktop from the address bar. It should make a shortcut. Label the shortcut mail. You can delete the OE icon if you like. From now on, click the shortcut (icon) you just made for mail. Good luck!

Here is what you can try..With your internet browser open Example Internet Explorer.. 1. go to tools 2.internet options 3.programs 4.choose the email arrow down and see if you have a choice of having yahoo as the default email that your internet browser will go to once you click on that email link.
