Find out first if your account lets you use POP email: Sign into Yahoo Mail online. Click Options. Look for "POP access and forwarding" link. If you find it, you can use Outlook so click the link. Tick "Web and POP access" and choose any other settings you want. Save. Click link beside "Web and POP access" to get your personal settings in a pop up window. Scroll down the page if you need more help with setting up Outlook for a link to further help. Use your personal settings in place of any in the general instructions.

This used to be a feature of Yahoo! Mail Plus but they no longer offer that service. So right now you can't.
