Where do I find the correct Pop3 and Smtp entry to connect yahoo mail to outlook 2003?

    For your free Yahoo mail, get free YPOPs and follow instructions in "Configuring Mail Clients" for Outlook 2003 -- http://ypopsemail.com/ ADDED - You don't need Yahoo Plus! ADDED - The info from the above YPOPs link seems to contradict others on this thread - "# Enter '127.0.0.1' as your Incoming mail server # Enter '127.0.0.1' as the SMTP server as your outgoing mail server".

You need Yahoo! Mail Plus. Setup instructions are at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/mailplus/pop/pop-08.html After that if you have problems check this page (might be obsolete because it conflicts with page above): http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/yahoomail/mailplus/pop/pop-06.html Meanwhile, initial setup worked for me... up until last night. In order to use a separate email program, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, or Thunderbird, with Yahoo Mail you need to pay for Yahoo Mail Plus. When you do you can set the servers as follows: Incoming (pop3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com Outgoing (smtp) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com. As an alternative there is an add on called YPOPS that you can download and try. §
