Is there verizon email accounts?

Be patient with me now while I try to explain what I want to do. Verizon is my ISP and I added Yahoo to it.?

  • Verizon Yahoo! is a personalized version of Yahoo! for Verizon users. I have a Macintosh so I'm limited in what I can do, but I want to have my mail (verizon.com and yahoo.com) all under Verizon Yahoo! mail. However, I want to keep their individual email addresses under one roof, so to speak. I have always liked Outlook Express, but I don't have any luck with it on Macintosh. But, if I subscribe to Yahoo Mail Plus service, this would allow me to to use Outlook Express or another POP 3 client to access and manage Yahoo Mail messages. Would Outlook Express be able to handle two accounts: [email protected] and [email protected] in Verizon Yahoo! Web mail. Does that make any sense? I'm so confused having my mail scattered all over. I don't use Mac Mail, but they know every move I make as far as my settings go. Whoever has the answer to this, please explain in detail how to go about this. I've read so much about it, but still don't understand what to do.

  • Answer:

well, what you can do (if i understood your question correctly ). You have a yahoo email account and a verizon email account. Now you purchased the yahoo verizon pack right? and you want the emails for both your yahoo and verzion to go to your yahoo verizon email, but still retain the email address of yahoo and verizon separately, right? If thats the case, you can actually call verizon tech support to do what we call an alias repoint, just make sure you explain specifically what you want to happen and that should be no problem at all

Sorry I can't help with your question, but you shouldn't have your e-mail addresses listed here on this forum. I'm betting you'll get all kinds of unwanted mail now. Can you removed your e-mail addresses? Honestly, for your own piece of mind.

Yes.. Outlook Express will handle almost an unlimited amount of email addresses.. On Outlook Express all you have to do is go to "tools" then "accounts" then "add" then "mail" then follow the instructions in the wizard that will pop up.. You will need to do this for each account... You will also need to know your username and password for each account, along with the POP server and the SMTP server names for each account.. these servers can usually be found on the website of the email provider.. The page for verizon is http://netservices.verizon.net/portal/link/help/item&case=2517the settings for for Yahoo are: Incoming Mail Server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.com Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.com
