How do I check my incoming and outgoing messages on yahoo answers?

Outlook suddenly unable to check yahoo mail?

Hi, I have XP SP3 with Outlook 2003 and have been using outlook to check my yahoo mail for years. Suddenly in the last few days I keep getting a name and password prompt over and over again. I logged on to yahoo mail with the same username and password, and I have messages in my inbox. Has something changed in the last few days? When I do a search for mail and outlook I get a lot of answers that seem to suggest I now have to pay to access my yahoo account from Outlook. I hope that is not the case because I will stop using yahoo rather than pay, with so many other free accounts out there. Can anyone explain whether something has changed in the last little while? Apparently you can only access your email from yahoo to outlook if you upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus which is less than $20.00 a year. However Gmail offers this feature for FREE. You might ask why gmail is free and yahoo mail is not: i don't know.
