How to set up outlook with a yahoo plus account using optimum isp?

I use Outlook for MAC and need to set up my yahoo account in Outlook.?

  • I have set up the account using POP3, but when I try to send or received any mail using outlook, I get an error - Outlook cannot connect to the server - I am sure that there is a way of doing this, but I just cannot seem to get the connections right.

    I'm having the same exact problem and getting very very very very tired of it! I have MS outlook on my PC and it works smooth with yahoo plus...I tried using same settings and all sorts of settings I found line on my 2011 mac pro with msoutlook...no go! this sucks!
