Why does Outlook keep asking me for a password?

Why does outlook 2003 keep asking for my password even after it has been saved and won't let me send messages

       As explained at http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/pop-40.html you can not use Outlook Express, Thunderbird or any other third party e-mail clients with the free, web-based version of Yahoo! Mail if you have a @yahoo.com address.    If you need to be able to do this you will have to upgrade to the paid Yahoo! Mail Plus service, it offers the POP requirements necessary to use programs like Outlook Express and Thunderbird. It costs about $20 per year, you can enroll at the bottom of the following information page. http://mailplus.mail.yahoo.com/    If you already subscribe to a premium Yahoo! e-mail plan,check the following link to find POP settings http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/index.html    If you are in the UK and have an @yahoo.co.uk address you DO have free access to POP3 mail.
