Your incoming Sever is Pop3 and your Outgoing Server is SMTP if you use a web based e-mail like yahoo you can configure outlook express to receieve mails using Pop3 and send mails using SMTP you can get Yahoo's pop3 settings by going in to y!mail clicking in options and find Pop access and forwarding

You should have received some literature when you signed up with your ISP. When I did, some years ago, my POP3 (incoming) server was pop3.blueyonder.co.uk and my SMTP (outgoing) server was smtp.blueyonder.co.uk See if you can find this letter. If you can't, telephone your ISP and ask them. As they're getting your money month after month, I'm sure they'll be only too happy to tell you.
