How do I get yahoo to work with mozilla thunderbird?

Yahoo! Mail on Thunderbird?

I downloaded YPops! and Mozilla Thunderbird. I have instructions on how to set up my free yahoo email and I followed them, however, once I click the "Get Mail" button on Thunderbird, it does nothing. How can I make my yahoo! mail work on thunderbird?
