What kind of server is yahoo?

What kind of server do yahoo mail use(POP3 or MAP)? And what is the name of the server?

  • Im trying to use my windows mail and it will access yahoo to send and recieve mail but it asks questions that i cant answer. So if you can help me please do so or try your best.

Subscribe to mail plus: http://billing.mail.yahoo.com/bm/Upgrades or download and install YPOPS http://ypopsemail.com/ then follow the directions for your version of outlook here, http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-35.html
