How do I get my mail at Yahoo instead of Outlook Express?

  • Sometimes my mail comes to Yahoo and sometimes it goes to Outlook Express then my Yahoo has zero mail. I can't send mail using Outlook so I'm stuck printing it off and replying via Yahoo.

    There is a setting in Outlook that removes e-mail from the mail server. That is why you are unable to find any mail on mail.yahoo.com. To stop this do not open outlook express anymore or change the setting to not delete e-mail from the server. I have found that many ISPs no longer allow you to send e-mail (SMTP traffic) to a mail server other than theirs. It is a way the ISPs are cracking down on people sending spam. Either that or you have an incorrect setting for your outgoing mail server. Good luck

You can have both separate if you don't mind having a yahoo toolbar added to your page. It has really great options. There are separate mail boxes for each one. You just have to undo the POP forwarding.
