How do i get a email alert to pop up on my screen? I use outlook.?

I wont to be alerted if a mail arrives when I have outlook minamized.

if it ie minimized.... and you receive a mail ... you'll see a small envelope appear in your system tray in right hand bottom with the clock .....

click tools>options...on general tab place a checkmark by.play a sound when new message arrives..click apply ok

hey, go to options menu, then preferences tab,. select e-mail options, then select advanced e-mail options, then second section, when new items arrive - check the relevant tick box. hope it helps ;)
