How do I download all of my gmail messages to outlook?

My yahoo a/c has more than 1000 messages, how can i download only the latest messages to my Microsoft outlook?

I am using Microsoft outlook as pop client and each time i download from my yahoo it downloads all messages. How can I download for example the lastest messages alone

you can't. sorry. i suggest that you just read the ones you want & then chose "select all" and delete the rest. you can also view more than 10 or whatever per page --ie: you can change the settings to view more at a time. also, i would suggest beginning to use your spam blocker and have your spam & bulk folders automatically delete those messages upon receipt to help you deal with the number of messages you are receiving.
