First of all I would like to advice you to check the page in which you're entering your E-mail address and passwords. There are lot of Yahoo's pages that mimic the original one. There are called spoofed pages mainly used for phising. Always see for a gloden padlock in your browser page and the address should start with a https:// (That 's' in http stands for secure and means that your connection with Yahoo's servers are secure) After checking for the correct page, Yahoo usually directs you to account verification page for security reasons. But beware NOT to give out any personal info whatsoever. Inspite of that if you're not able to login to your account and still get that password prompt, clear your browser cookies, temp files. For more solutions see here (http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=content&y=PROD_ACCT&locale=en_US&id=SLN2051&impressions=true ) Try different browsers like Firefox, Chrome and Opera. I’m sure you’ll be able to get to your mail page using these any of these browsers. But my opinion is that Opera loads your web pages way much faster than the other two. I recently switched to Opera to access my mails and it works at awesome speed! 
