How to get an outlook e-mail account?

I've just installed YM. How do I get it to use my Yahoo email account instead of outlook please?

  • I am PC illiterate. I have installed Yahoo Messenger but when I try to send a mail to a contact it is not using my my Yahoo email address but Outlook Express.

hi there. go into your yahoo profile & edit. you may have your alternate email on there and you can uncheck that and check for emails to go to yahoo email. its really simple once you go to the profile area. good luck
