How can I sychronize outlook with my yahoo! email account?

I am trying to sychronize Outlook with my Yahoo! email account, but it doesn't work. I am using the outgiong mail to pop.mail.yahoo.com and for the incomming mail set to smtp.mail.yahoo.com. I have even reversed them and I still can't connect to the yahoo! server. Any ideas?

There are 2 ways to get Yahoo Mail into your Outlook Express using the POP3 Access (Post Office Protocol) 1.) Either you subscribe for the Same using Yahoo! Mail Plus as has already been Highlighted OR 2.) You use some sort of Interface that is able to connect to Yahoo Mail and also to Outlook express (Or Other Clients Like Lotus Notes) and helps you transfer data. One such Client is YPOPs which provides a POP3 server interface to your outlook express or Lotus notes client on one end and on the other provide a HTTP Browser interface for Yahoo Mail. This is perfectly legal as has been put up on their website. Please check out the same at http://www.ypopsemail.com 1.) Keeping a mail file on your comp at home is a much better option than keeping the same on the Yahoo servers as you never know when Yahoo might stop the free mail service. 2.) Also the space available on yahoo servers is limited but at home you can fill up an entire hard drive with mails. 3.) Also the Mail server on Yahoo can be broken into or someone might just break into your account, you can at least keep all the data safe if it is on a personal computer.
