How to get an outlook e-mail account?

Problem with my email account on Outlook Express. Can anyone help me please. I get a pop up box stating:-?

  • Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks. Please review the list of errors below for more details. The connection to the server has failed. Account, 'Bt Internet Mail', Server: 'mail,btinternet.com', Protocol; POP3, Port: etc and error number , can anyone tell me what this means please and how I can rectify the problem? Thank You.

    if the message above is exactly the same error on the outlook, i think you should change "mail,btinternet.com" to mail.btinernet.com because you have a comma instead of a dot. 1) go to tools 2) go to email accounts 3) select view/existing email accounts 4) highlight the name of your pop and click change 5) check your incoming and outgoing mail server

Check the account setting in the list.. is the STMP, POP3, etc.. details all correct? tools > e-mail accounts > View or change existing > choose the account in question (then click Change) Ensure all the information is correct (if unsure there should be a self-help guild on your ISPs website)
