Im trying to setup my mac's mail feature, but im not sure what kind of account types i have...

Answer:
Yahoo! is a POP email service. Unfortunately, you have to pay a subscription to view your email outside of your web browser. AOL, however, is an IMAP email service. IMAP has many advantages over POP, including it's security. If you have a standard AOL email account (the kind that you don't have to pay for), you can view your email from either your web browser or your email viewing application (like Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or Apple Mail). I hope that helps.
