Answer:
For yahoo mail you need upgrade to yahoo mail plus (@ $19.99 per year).to get the full pop3 service for access to Outlook,Incredimail, Thunderbird and others. For more info on setting up your pop3 account see the link below. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/classic/mailplus/pop/pop-35.html * Incoming Mail Server (POP3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com Use SSL, port: 995 * Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication. If you have “yahoo.co.uk” address some users can get free pop forwarding see below. Click “options” (top right) on your mail page>mail options>pop and forwarding> Set up or edit pop & forwarding>type in the address you want to forward to and click save. * Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk Use SSL, port: 995 * Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smpt.mail.yahoo.co.uk Use SSL, port: 465. Note: In order to be able to send emails from outlook and others through/to yahoo (pop3) you need to pay for a yahoo mail plus account. @ £11.99 per year.

if your mail account in yahoo is created free, then you won't be able to link it either to Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express. check on POP manuals and Yahoo's help on how to link yahoo mail. *only subscribed/paid accounts can be linked into Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express or an email account given to you by your ISP.

I disagree with the others. Go to outlook express, select tools, then accounts, select add and type in 127.0.0.1 and make that your default mail. Now click on the server tab incoming mail should read 127.0.0.1, then drop down to the SMTP and type in, cwmx.com, then drop down and check my server requires auth, now click on the advance tab and type 25 in the outgoing box and 110 in the incoming box. click apply then OK. Now you can send email via outlook express to recipients on your desktop or my documents or in you favorites but you'lll still receive your email in yahoo.com. You may get an error report but don't let that bother you. You have told DOS to sent email through the nearest ISP and windows doesn't recognize that. Just send an email to yourself using outlook. I use rocketmail it also works on that one too. Good luck Ralph
