How do i change my name in yahoo email?

For my yahoo email, how do i change my name? not the email name but my name?

  • I made my email when i was very little and when signing up for the email i put a fake name because i didn't trust the internet. Now whenever i email something to someone, the name would pop up to be john smith instead of my name. I need to know how to change that preference, please help thanks!

    I've worked it out. Log into your email, click on 'My Account' next to the 'Sign out' option. It will ask you to log in again. It will then display your information. It shows two yellow lines, the first one says 'Member Information', the second says 'Address/Contact Information', this is the one you want. Click on 'Edit' at the end of the line. It will then have an option for Your Name at the top. Change your name there and click 'Finished' and your name will be changed. Click finished again to leave your account details.

Go to your e-mail. Look in the top right hand corner and look for OPTIONS. Click on options. Find General Preferences and click on that. You can then change what ever you want.

click my account beside the sign out. Then there is a place there that indicates name. change it.

Sign into Yahoo Mail. Click on options (Far Right). Next Click on General Preferences-. Hope that helps
