Can I e-mail with windows outlook?

How can I download email files to windows 7 from Outlook?

  • I have installed Windows 7 successfuly and I realised it did not support email. But I did not appreciate I would lose all the associated email files. Are they recoverable?

  • Answer:

Hi Not having Windows 7 - I would have thought that if you are able to transfer the data to a memory stick or CD then you could view the emails through these means, especially if you have a 2nd pc which uses windows EXP. I have just managed to find a link which I hope will sort out your email difficulties. The Pc's in public libraries should also have outlook and providing they run on EXP then you should be able to read your emails if you save them to a disc/memory stick. This really depends on the amount you have and the size, if they are large and have many big attachments then you will need more than one disc. It needs to be Read only, and if you want to delete some of them then you will need a RW disc. Hope this is helpful, don't worry, computers are only machines and you can always tell them what you want done, and usually it works. Regards
