Can you help me with a question about forwarding email?
-
OK, I use Yahoo Mail, and I have it set to automatically bung my spam in to the spam folder. I also have a defunct AOL email address. There is quite a bit of spam going to the AOL address, but there are also some emails I still want. To save logging in to both, I was going to forward my AOL emails on to my Yahoo emails. The thing that bothers me is that if I do, and Yahoo put that spam in to my spam folder, does that then appear that I am spamming from my AOL account, or does the original sender get marked as spam? I don't want to get in to trouble for spamming when I am only forwarding my own emails on to myself.

Answer:
Can you set a rule on the AOL account to only forward emails from the senders you still want, or set the spam filter on AOL as spam is not normally forwarded.
