Yahoo mail not working with Windows Live Mail?

For the last 2 days my Windows Live Mail has been saying that my password for Yahoo is wrong. I have changed the password via Yahoo but still the problem is there. I have also deleted the account from WLM and started from the beginning again but still the same message comes up. I have also run through the settings and found the right ones online but no change. For the last year this has been working perfectly well so I am confused! Any ideas? Cheers

i also had this problem and now have it sorted :) in the yahoo.com on the mail page you need to go onto the options menu (top right corner) and click more options now on the loft hand side click on POP & Forwarding under this menu click the box with Allow your Yahoo! Mail to be POPed now try to get it in WLM again :)

I've had problems reading Yahoo mail for the last couple of days, and today does not seem to work at all! After the logi-in, I get dumped back on the main site. Thought it might have been a virus on my PC, but it looks like there may be an issue. Why is Yahoo not giving any info on its website?!

Yup. I have been having the same problem, started two days ago. Can send ok from Outlook on my ymail address but cannot receive also the email alerts on my mobile have stopped at the same time. I can access ymail via the browser so password is correct. strange!!!!

Daniel, I have the exact same problem, I just posted the same question a few minutes ago, at least it is not just me getting frustrated with this! Hopefully we can find an answer. I contacted yahoo but got no response.
