Why are my Yahoo attachments opened in Outlook Express?

Yahoo Mail: restore inbox from Outlook Express?

  • My spouse absentmindedly opened Outlook Express to view our emails, and when I accessed our AT&T Yahoo! Mail email account later, our inbox was empty. (We like being able to view our emails from any computer, but sometimes forget to do so via AT&T Yahoo! Mail only.) I assume that the emails somehow were downloaded to Outlook Express and deleted from the server. Is there any way to make them viewable again in AT&T Yahoo! Mail (perhaps at least in an "OE Mail" folder)? I saw a similar question to mine, where the answerer suggested that there was a problem with the connection. Nonsense! If that were the case, I wouldn't have been able to access other websites -- and I most certainly CAN access other things on the Internet.

    I don't think that you can just upload the emails again (happened to me everytime I get a new email client). The closest thing you can do is to forwad them to yourself (it will look cheesy, but it is the only thing I can think of)

I'll open up sbcglobal E-Mails and sometime there in Outland Express. I can't delete Outland Express cause I have IBM and that is their E-Mail.

Just go to outlook express and where it says reply just email the letters you want on the web page side back to yourself. I do that and it works. In other words, what I am trying to say, is email the letters back to your Yahoo email. Next time becareful about opening the Outlook Express.

Most of the Outlook Express error messages are due to problems with the internet connection, not the software on your computer.
