How can i download my yahoo mails on Outlook mail /Express?

    You must be a paid subscriber of Yahoo Mail Plus to use email programs like Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc., to access your Yahoo mail. Free accounts cannot be accessed by email clients. There is no free way to access throughp POP and SMTP. you have to pay Gmail can allow you to do so

Subscribe to mail plus: http://billing.mail.yahoo.com/bm/Upgrades or download and install YPOPS http://ypopsemail.com/ then follow the directions for your version of outlook here, http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-35.html If you have trouble with set up, check the YPOPS installation page for alternate set up instructions. http://dbeusee.home.comcast.net/ I currently utilize the most recent version of Thunderbird (2.0.0.4) and version 0.8.3 of YPOPS (there is a more recent version of YPOPS if you are interested) and have no problems. Hi, Gautam, First of all, you have to find out, if POP access facility is available to you or not. This is not available to all Yahoo mail users.: Log in to you Yahoo mail inbox. You will find 'Options' at the right top corner. Open it and go to 'mail' and open it. Here you might find a heading 'POP Access and Forwarding'. If it is there, then you are lucky. Follow the instructions given in the 'POP3 setting' and configure your MS outlook as per the procedure mentioned there. You will find the correct addresses for mail servers in the same place. After setting a MS outlook, use Send/Receive' icon for accessing your Yahoo mail. Otherwise, download and install 'Ypops' program. All the best... SSJ

Under the FILE menu in your Outlook Express client program, just click on IMPORT and it should direct you further as to how to import your Yahoo email, hence transferring it over to the Outlook Express program. That is what you are trying to do, isn't it, baby? You will be importing, or uploading your Yahoo email to your new email client, not downloading, but that's not important as long as we understand one another! lol Love and kisses, Leslie
