Can my yahoo mail be forwarded to another email address automatically?

All my outgoing email using my forwarded address have been delayed between 3 and 7 hours for the last week.?

• My forwarding address has been routed through my primary yahoo account for over 5 years. Up until the last couple of weeks, I have had no problems with sending or receiving mail. For the last week or so, all my email sent using that forwarding address is being severely delayed. For the week before that, I received an error message when I tried to send mail using that forwarding address, and sometimes even my primary address. The error was that the "from" address (my forwarded email address) was not recognized. I am using Thunderbird as my email management program. I checked my Thunderbird account settings. I tried setting a "reply to" address. I checked my primary yahoo account to make sure the forwarding address was verified. I tried sending emails to my forwarded address directly from the yahoo interface. None of these revealed any issues, and I am still experiencing inordinate delays in delivery.

  I've had this problem since February 15th, and my delays has been sporadic anywhere from 15 minutes to 12 hours (but mostly they are in the 5-6 hours range). I can understand if there is some exceptional outage or temporary hiccup, but what's frustrating is the lack of Yahoo! official communication on this, either in a public statement or at least in email to all paying Mail Plus customers, especially since this is a known problem for several weeks now. It took me several days just to realize that some important emails actually have been delayed (and in today's business world, you can imagine how costly this can be).
