How to recover lost yahoo email?

How do i RECOVER my EMAIL that was DELETED due to thunderbird?

• PLEASE BEAR W/ ME & READ THIS ... I REALLY NEED HELP RECOVERING MY LOST EMAIL ... I gave tried a program developed by mozilla called "Thunderbird" - which is similar to Outlook I set up my MAIN YAHOO Email account (i didnt know what i was getting my self into).. & i set the email receiver up as a POP Server (on thunderbird) Then it began to download my "NEW" MESSAGES --all 783 of them... After completing the download i figured out that my OLD & READ EMAIL wasn't in Thunderbird ... so i went to login to my email account like i normally do (mail.yahoo.com) ONLY TO DISCOVER MY INBOX WAS COMPLETLY EMPTY! NO READ / UNREAD MESSAGES... nothing! :( <This is the problem i need help with> >>>>>HOW DO I PORT MY MESSAGES ON THUNDERBIRD prog. back into my online YAHOO MAIL INBOX! >>>>>and HOW DO I RECOVER MY old/ READ MESSAGES that disappeared!!??? ***Please help , it will be greatly appreciated!***

  Here's the concept: the online inbox - the one at Yahoo - is just space on Yahoo's server where you have access to to see your messages. Once you download those messages through the pop server - so you're no longer reading the messages online, you're going to read them locally on your computer - they are removed from the Yahoo server and sent to your computer. You cannot just load all of your messages back onto Yahoo's server so you can read them. The old / read messages that were on the Yahoo server were moved with the rest of the stuff you told Yahoo to give you when you set up a pop account. So, they're either on Thunderbird - or, likely, you had Thunderbird set to delete any old or already-read messages. My guess is that they are gone. Bad news, but no bs in the presentation. -Stuart
