How to restore emails from outlook to yahoo server?

How do I stop Outlook Express from recieving multiple copies of my emails from Yahoo mail server?

• Just in the last day or 2, my Outlook Express program has gone stupid, and instead of just collecting NEW emails , as it normally does when I sign in....now, it is re-collecting all the old emails from the yahoo server...the ones I have already recieved. Thus I am now getting multiple copies of all the read emails. How can I stop this?

• Answer:

  This problem CAN be a mail server problem but usually its the mail client ( Outlook Express ) and a corruption of some sort. I see Outlook Express do this alot actually ( I do tech support ) Go to tools, accounts, mail tab, select your account, remove it, then go to add, mail , and then resetup your account. This often fixes it.
