Cannot send emails in outlook express?

Why can't I send e-mails from Outlook Express 6???

  • I am not sure if this is in the right category but here is my problem>>> When I click to email the link or to report on Explorer and It won't let me... is there something I need to do??? I have 10 emails storing there since last year and It hasnt sent out.

erm .... check that you have enough space on your harddrive. This happend on my work computer and deleting un-need files seemed to somehow do the trick .

maybe it is password protected or try MS outlook. try exploring the options for the outlook express, maybe you have overlooked some preferences that should be filled. please have time to visit my blog http://web-jack.blogspot.com/

Outlook must be setup to work with your email server. If you haven't done that, call your Internet service provider, or if you're on a network, your network administrator for the necessary setup data.

Outlook Express is being phased by Microsoft. They are replacing it with Windows Live mail, try and upgrade. If you still are unable to send mail, try checking the server settings against what your isp provides you. Just make sure the settings are correct.

You have to have a premium account with your email provider...Most dont allow the use of Outlook..Look into it

once you have set up your email account with outlook express make sure that you show outlook express as your default email account
