How can I get my Yahoo mail to work with Outlook express?

    1.) Do you have a Yahoo Mail Plus account??? This is required. Go nuts with YPOPs, but I don't recommend it because I've had calls where people's accounts have been hacked and they were using this tool. I'm still not sure about it. 2.) After setting up the servers: pop.mail.yahoo.com for incoming, and smtp.mail.yahoo.com, Make sure the outgoing settings have the option selected to use secure authentication on outgoing msgs. 3.) if port 25 is been blocked on the outgoing, then change it to 587. If that does not work, configure your firewall to unblock these ports. 4.) Make sure you have POP turned on in Yahoo! mail! there are necessary charges if you use the incoming mail for yahoo. they are just open if it is a web based email.
