Why can't I log into Yahoo mail on Internet Explorer?

Internet explorer redirecting yahoo mail? WHY it should be mozilla firefox.?

Help please. When i press my shortcut for yahoo mail my preferred way is for it it open with mozilla firefox which i want it do so. However Internet explorer has started to now opens up and my sign in seal yahoo is not there and it doesnt remember any passwords. I want this to stop as it opens 2 pages of yahoo mail one with firfox with my sign in seal and other internet explorer without. Why is this and how do i stop it. I checked setting of yahoo shortcut and internet options intenet explorer and it says that internet explorer is not set as default browser so how do i get rid of this. Please help have i got a virus or been hijacked. I have avg superantispyware antimalware and Ccleaner installed.

In most cases, issue of Internet Explorer redirecting to a different web page arises because of malwares. Malwares are capable of causing such problems so that users would get redirected to malware infected websites and might accidentally download complex malwares. Installing the system with a good Antivirus program or malware removal tool and removing the entire problem causing malwares would solve the issue.
