How To Reset Password?

I need to reset my password but i no longer have an att email as my alternate email. how do i reset password?

  • Apparently, years ago when I set up my security questions, I referenced an ATT.com email address. I no longer have this account nor do I remember what it was (I NEVER used it). My yahoo email was recently hacked and friends told me I needed to change my password. I tried changing it but kept getting messages that I needed to change it so I kept changing it and now I don't know what it is. When I went into the Yahoo 'HELP' screen to get help to reset it, it asked my for my alternate email address and gave me the clue "******@a**.com". I had an att email a very long time ago but never used it and don't even remeber what it was! So, now I don't know what to do. I really need to be able to get into my email. I even set up another Yahoo account but realized I wouldn't have access to all my saved emails from the first account. It has been extremely frustrating not to be able to find a phone number to contact Yahoo support directly! Can you PLEASE help me asap? I am sending this through the new account I just set up '[email protected]'. I need to reset my password for '[email protected]'. I can be reached any time at 309/681-0947. Thanks! Cindy Closen

  • Answer:

Yahoo only has 4 ways to prove who you are for a password reset. There are no exceptions. 1. Alternate email address 2. Cell phone number 3. Credit card used for some other Yahoo service 4. Answering the 2 security questions ʎəɿʞɹɐq  ̊ ͜͡● ̊
