How do I change my "name" for emails I send out?

How can I change my email so it does not show my name on the emails I send?

  • I tried editing my account and I did change it, but it still shows my name and I don't know why. Also, if you have sent emails to someone before, does it recognize you with your real name even if you change it?

    Hi, Go to options in mail and get another id where it says just add a dot. It is the fastest and easiest. But you have to put something in the reply to and you can just put your initials. Or you can do as the answers above me. The answer is no to your last question. I hope this helps you.

you know how when you open your e-mail it says "Welcome bob" or what ever your name is. Go to options on the top right. Then click general preferences and the first thing that it shows is where you can change your name. hope that helps. ^_^

you can edit your account form your profile and change your name. Instead of your true complete name you may change it to whatever name you want.
