Ive have tried yahoo help; and cleared my browser cache, and im still having the same problem. ive checked my laptop over and everything seems okay. Ive also tried using a friends computer and members of my family's computers. Was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem? Kellie, if you click on Problems With Service (to the right of this page) you will find that loads of people are having terrible problems with Yahoo at present. All this week I have experienced exactly the problems you describe. Despite what someone else has said here, I am not with Virgin and yet I am still suffering. Because of the many hundreds (possibly thousands) of people having trouble with Yahoo this week, surely common sense says that the problem is not with you or your computer, but with Yahoo themselves. I wish I could be more help. If I knew what to suggest, I would sort out my own problems!! But at least this might reassure you that you are not alone.

Try this with Virgin Media: I had this problem and yes I do believe it is with Virgin as I had this issue previously with NTL. I remembered that previously when they had the issue support gave me a proxy server to use until it was fixed. I searched the net and found the proxy address for virgin media!! I entered this into internet explorer and hey presto now I can access yahoo mail through virgin media. Go to tools, internet options and choose connection settings. Then choose lan connections and enter: webcache.virginmedia.com into the proxy server address with port 8080 and tick the box to you the proxy. Once they have fixed the issue you can remove the proxy server address although I would keep it somewhere safe!
