How to send mail to someones e-mail address?

My email address changes to to another email address when i send mail. How do i prevent that from happening?

  • My email address is Insanity_brains but when i send an email it changes to [email protected]... and so when people reply to my emails, it goes to him. How do i stop this from happening?

    It's easy------just change the "reply to" line in your settings. Mail page>>options>>mail/more options>>Accounts (from the list on the left)>>then click on "Yahoo Mail" (middle of page, under Accounts) You will see a small link UNDER the from line name, that says---change "reply to" setting. Click that link and erase everything showing on that line----AND leave it blank----then click "save changes" at the top of the page. .......................... By leaving it blank, you are instructing Yahoo to send ALL replies to your account address . It's only "necessary" to put an address there if you want replies going to a different address.

Your email address is probably going out correctly, but the REPLY TO address is wrong. To change this...see below. This describes how to change the FROM name...When you get to this location you will see below the FROM name you will see "change reply-to address". change it to your address and then go above and click on SAVE CHANGES. You can change the FROM name or place one in for the first time by doing one of the following.. Click on this link http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/cl%E2%80%A6 ++++++++++++++++ This describes what the link tells you. In MAIL CLASSIC or ALL NEW MAIL ....click on OPTIONS...MAIL OPTIONS.(MORE OPTIONS in All New Mail).. Then click on ACCOUNTS...Click on "Yahoo! Mail" which is located just below ACCOUNTS. ..then scroll down to YOUR FROM NAME and change it to what you want. Go above and click on SAVE CHANGES. Note: If you leave the FROM NAME blank your recipients will see your email address in their in box prior to opening your email. ++++
