How can I stop Yahoo! alerts text messages on my cell phone?
-
I never signed up for any alerts - when I go to the "My Alerts" page it says I haven't signed up for any alerts, and there are no alerts to delete, but I receive 4 to 5 alerts a day (junk) usually in the middle of the night. If I don't turn my phone off every night, they wake me up when my phone starts beeping. I've emailed Yahoo!, and the individual people the alerts come from - if anything it has made them worse. Can anyone help me? I'm about to throw my phone away.

Answer:
I had the same problem when I was with Cingular. I found out it was because I had checked my email from my phone. Check again (not insinuating that you are stupid) and make sure that you have your alert off. That is what I was told when I called. I know its not much help but, it sure beats throwing your phone.
