Why is my Yahoo mail in Spanish? And my yahoo home page?

Why doesn't yahoo post an alert on their home page when yahoo mail goes down?

  • Seems odd to me. I performed lots of housecleaning to my machine (a good thing!) before I started to investigate if maybe yahoo mail was down. Hell, it looks like it was down most of the day for some of us. Help a brother out, yahoo!

    They could do that. Than you be much madder because you got an email or messages . But than you couldn't use your email. Do you have beta?? If you do I feel sorry for you than.

This is more an agreement than an answer... It sure seems as if they could have easily informed us all of technical issues. We are so accustomed to 'puter ups and downs that we tend to think of problems as unique rather than universal. It would be great to know right away that an outside problem has caused everyone the same problem.
