Problems Logging Into Yahoo Mail?? I think I found a fix. What do you think?

I was getting error messages and not able to log into Yahoo Mail for 4 days. I tried this last night and now it works. Has anyone else found a way to get ahold of customer service? Even though missing messages was not my issue, I filled out the following form anyways.. My Yahoo mail is now working but all messages from 24 hrs + are gone forever. Try this if you are getting error messages logging in. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ya%E2%80%A6 Please note: It took 24 hours before my mail was up and running.. This may not work for you, but it worked for me..

You are not alone. There have been many reports from users that they can not get into their mail account. It was caused by the recent upgrades to YMail. Not everyone is affected. In 2008 and 2009 we had this same problem of messages from 24 hours ago missing. When the work was finished, the missing emails all appeared.

Luckily, I've not had this problem, but losing 24 hours worth of emails is not worth it to me. If you have a problem in the future, Here are a few things to try. Clear your history, temporary files (this one takes a while – wait for the hourglass to stop) & cookies, restart the computer and retry. .
