IF ITS MANDATORY WHY DO I HAVE TO "SIGN ON" ?WHY DONT THEY JUST CHANGE THE FORMAT THAT I/WE HAVE BECOME COMFORTABLE WITH... THAT GOODNESS FOR HOT MAIL , AOL, VERIZON, GMAIL..BY BY YAHOO...THE LAST UPGRADE.. WAS A MESS..

It's not mandatory IF you're using Classic. If you want to stay with Classic----Try this link which has been reported to be a permanent fix. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/context/migrationv2.html THEN When that page opens---scroll down a bit until you see this---"What if I don’t want to upgrade to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail"?----IF you do not want to upgrade, please "click here" to use Yahoo! Mail Classic. (click here----is a blue link)
