Is Yahoo classic homepage gone forever?

New yahoo homepage gone, what happened?

  There are a few different reasons for the web page vanishing. 1. If you installed a new program it may have asked if you wanted it to be the new home page. 2. If you opened a third party page or pop up and tried to close it. It may have had a little script that said:'if you want this to be your new home page click close. No matter what happened you can change it back. Steps: Open a new browser window. Type in www.yahoo.com When the page opens go to the menu bar across the top click on: TOOLS Then go to internet options, When it opens click the General tab if it's not open You'll see an area to make a homepage type the following: http://www.mail.yahoo.com/ Then click use current. Then Apply Then OK. Yahoo should now be you new homepage. Check this by closing the browser and launching a new one. I wish you the best.
