How do I forward or reply to an E-mail?

When I type up an email reply and move forward a page I loose it. How can I avoid loosing what I've written

  • I answered an email and had to check something on another page with wikipedia so lost the email when I went back. The page was blank. I have also lost what I have typed by going forward a page for any reason. In other words when I move from the reply page for any reason...I lose what I have typed on it. Its left blank when I go back again. This used to happen a few years ago and I noticed it happens again now. Can we avoid this? Is this a malfunction of sorts? Its fraustrating to type a big reply to someone and for some reason to move from the page and go back again to doscover everything is lost. Can anyone help with this?

  • Answer:

Next time, highlight your reply by hitting ctrl+a, then hit ctrl+c to copy it into the "buffer". You can then go forward as much as you like. When you go back, hit ctrl+v to paste the message back.
