Mark new unread emails?

When I mark emails unread after reading it,, it isn't consider "new mail" anymore it will be considered read.

• although it is highlighted meaning unread but if you sign on where it says new mail.. it doesn't say that it's new.. How can I fix that?

  I'm sorry to say, but if you are talking about yahoo mail, then I don't think there is a way to fix it. Once you read an email, it is considered opened. Like you said, you can mark it as "unread" but that is the most you can do.
