How do I change character encoding in Yahoo Mail Classic?
-
Since Yahoo Mail introduced the new beta version, I've had trouble changing the character encoding in messages using the old version, i.e. I can no longer do it through the browser. This is ok in the Beta because there's an in-program option to change encoding. However, I can't find an option like this in Mail Classic. Is there a way I haven't seen, or is Yahoo purposely downgrading Mail Classic to get us to change versions? This really bites. Thanks.

Answer:
It seems that the only way to change the encoding is through the "more actions" link. This is only available when reading, not composing. I see no way to change encoding on outgoing mail. If you try to change it through the browser when composing it tells you to go to "more actions" which is not actually available. ɦəlʞɹɐq
