I can not send out my emails! How can I fix it.

I Can not send emails? How do I fix this?

  • A few days ago I was sending my emails and then on the same day asked to enter in the code and when I enter it correctly it tells me there is suspicious activity on my account. Now I have work things that come to my yahoo address and I cant reply. Please help.

  • Answer:

This glitch has been happening for several days now many people are getting this message. It usually happens if you have sent a lot of mail at once and Yahoo suspect spamming. However currently it is affecting ordinary users. We hear that Yahoo are working on this problem but not yet solved apparently.

There seems to be nothing we can do to fix this; it's a problem inside the new Yahoo Mail programme itself. As a result, we can still receive emails but not answer them. Yahoo do not reply to complaints for an obvious reason - there must be such a huge number of them. Unless Yahoo can restore the situation by the end of this week, I shall be moving my account elsewhere. A nuisance, but what else can I do? Roy Pennison ([email protected])

This is just one of the latest glitches which has been bothering users since several days. Yahoo staff has been notified and is working on it, but there's no telling when the problem will be solved, sorry... Note: if you have a mobile with internet capabilities, try to use it to get into your account and take care of the mails. At least 3 users reported that this workaround is a good one. Another seemingly good workaround: switch back to Mail Classic, there have been reports that this mail version doesn't have the "suspicious" bug. In case you'd like to try... Taken from one of the help pages... "What if I don?t want to upgrade to the newest version of Yahoo! Mail? We strongly encourage you to upgrade so that you can experience all of the exciting new benefits that Yahoo! Mail has to offer. However, if you do not want to upgrade, please click here (blue link) to use Yahoo! Mail Classic." http://mrd.mail.yahoo.com/switchclassic http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/ymail/context/migrationv2.html If the above doesn't help... The current version replaced "All New Mail" - now it's either that or Yahoo Mail Classic... Once you have the new Mail Regular, you will no longer be able to switch back to All New Mail and/or see a switch-back link to Mail Classic, but I'm slightly visually impaired and found an interesting workaround a few weeks ago to at least get back to Mail Classic: lower your screen resolution, and as soon as it's too low for the new mail, you will get a message displayed asking if you want to switch to Mail Classic. Click "yes". Of course you can switch back to your original screen resolution once you have mail classic back..:-) Another option: turn off Javascript - you'll then be asked if you want to return to Mail Classic, click "yes". In case you don't know how to turn off Javascript... For IE: tools -> internet options -> security. In security click "custom level" -> disable active scripting in the scripting section. Remember to turn Javascripting back on when you are back in Mail Classic since without it some mail functions won't work For Firefox: tools -> options -> content, click on "disable Javascript". Now hit F5 to refresh the page while you are in yahoo email in order to kick in the option (permanent) to switch back to classic. Do not click on the "one time" option. Turn it back on once you have your "Classic" account back.
