Why can't I log into mail?

Why cant I log on to my e mail?

  • I can log onto yahoo.com but when I click the email icon it will not go to it, why is that, it did last night.

    If you are with Virgin media then follow these instructions and you will be able to access your mail again =) In Internet Explorer Choose Tools > Internet Options > Connections Under Dial-Up and Virtual Private Network Settings,if there is an entry in there select it and choose the Settings button If not then choose the LAN Settings button instead Now clickto add a tick to the box which says Use a proxy server for this connection OR Use a proxy server for your LAN or something similar. In the Address: box type - webcache.virginmedia.com In the Port: box type 8080 Click OK and OK again and restart Internet Explorer You might also need to change back to Yahoo! Classic, when you can get in to do it, that is.Underneath your e-mail address just click on the mail classic option,it will ask you to confirm that you want to go back to using the old style version,just click yes You can access it instantly via this link http://uk.m.yahoo.com/p/mail but the above will solve the problem permanantly =)

i'be been having problems for 2 days ...but now all seems well... e-mail coming up fine . hopefully it will resolve for you soon. thanks yahoo .... i complained yesterday ... all day ..so its fair to say ..Thanks ... now for whatever you did ... hopefully the above info helps or they will correct the problem soon ... ... thanks minnie ... for all your help yesterday.

Why are you thanking Yahoo? I can assure you that this problem persists (Sunday, 11.30pm). Like so many other people, I have had it up to here with Yahoo. These problems have been going on all week or more. Yes, you may be able to access Yahoo and / or mail occasionally, but within minutes the problems recur. Who did you spend all day complaining to? Certainly Yahoo don't appear to be taking any notice of all the people who are begging for some reassurance that these problems are being addressed.
